Frequently asked questions

Is ToKorea free?
All core tools are free. If you consult a registered lawyer, you agree on fees directly with the law firm — ToKorea takes no referral fee.
Do you fill in or submit documents for me?
No. We do not prepare or file documents. Instead we connect you with lawyers at partner law firms and let you track progress. Under the Attorney-at-Law Act we take no referral fee.
What happens to copies of my passport or residence card?
They are discarded right after verification (zero-storage). Only an irreversible one-way hash stays on the server, so the original cannot be recovered even if leaked.
Which visa types are supported?
Self-checks for students (D-2, D-4), professionals (E-7), Employment Permit System workers (E-9), marriage migrants and permanent residents (F-6, F-5), and naturalization.
Can I use it without speaking Korean?
Yes. ToKorea supports 11 languages, including English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian and Mongolian. Change the language in settings and the whole app switches instantly.
